1 - Raider Card Addict
Writer bio
The result of an older brother following the Raiders and a Father who follows the Broncos, Joseph Budd was tuned to the Raiders at a young age, starting with Ken Stabler's game against the Vikings in the 1976 season. Going through school, he was the subject of ridicule and resentment, especially after cheering for the Raiders through two more Super Bowl wins, and watched in horror when Bo Jackson's career was derailed.
Never giving up on his team, Joe went on to college, and took his hobby into business, opening a card shop, trading, and doing business both before and after the internet took off, selling cards and collectables.
After discovering that there was no physical way to collect every single card when your name is not Donald Trump, Joe decided to pursue the Raider cards. A...

2 - Sayre Bedinger
Writer bio
Welcome to the Sayre Bedinger writer profile! I am a 19 year old student in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I currently am the community leader for the Denver Broncos, and am a writer for the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bulls, and Iowa Hawkeyes. I also enjoy North Carolina Tar Heels basketball.
Ever since I was about ten years old, as far as I can remember I have loved the Denver Broncos. The only other memories of football I have prior to that are being obsessed with Starting Lineup action figures and having my parents put Broncos gear on me every now and again. I became obsessed with the NFL Draft when I received the complete set of Topps NFL Football Cards in 1999, and I memorized all the colleges and stats and biographies for every rookie there was.
I've since developed a passion ...

3 - Sean Crowe
Writer bio
Sean Crowe got his start writing for the now defunct dailysportsreport.com (although we’ve recently been informed that DSR is back…but we assure you, Crowe has absolutely nothing to do with the new site).
His influences include ESPN's Bill Simmons (from his Digital City Boston days) and the Boston Globe's Dan Shaughnessy before he went catatonic and was replaced by a random negative article regurgitating robot. He hates everyone who writes for the Boston Herald except for Steve Bulpett & Rob Bradford. Mike Reiss is his favorite sports writer at the moment, but he’s looking into becoming the president of the Amalie Benjamin fan club—for whatever that’s worth.
Crowe is married with 2 beautiful daughters. His wife is obviously a saint for putting up with him for over five yea...

4 - Angel Navedo
Writer bio
The details about my life are fairly simple. I live in Brooklyn, NY, support the New York Jets, and love professional football down to the very core of my soul.
I believe opinions make the world go 'round, and refuse to falter on that stance. You can hold facts to your chest as closely as you please. I prefer to see them analyzed and disputed from a different, well-argued perspective.
Serious journalism is always welcome, but I'll be damned if we don't all love a good laugh. It's why I write serious pieces, and make plenty of joke ones.
Aside from spending an extraordinary amount of time analyzing sports I was never good enough to play on a professional level, I write various forms of fiction, my opinions on things unrelated to sports across the web, and school papers for ve...

5 - Michael Whooley
Writer bio
Michael Whooley lives in the happiest place on Earth. No,not Disneyland; rather that beautiful city known as San Bruno in the wondrous state of California. A graduate of Providence College in Rhode Island, Michael has also done his time on the East Coast and has come to the conclusion that the West Coast truly is the Best Coast. Seriously, who needs snow? Michael emerged from his mother's womb decked in the red and gold of his beloved San Francisco 49ers. Growing up in the Bay Area in the late 80s and early 90s, Michael was spoiled and got to enjoy some of the best football any team has ever played (not just opinion, but a fact as solid as the fact that the male seahorse has the babies - look it up!) Trips to Candlestick Park to see the 49ers with his grandma were frequent occurrences. ...

7 - Henry Gula
Writer bio
I'm Henry, and I love football and baseball. Originally from Boston, I have spent time in both New York (which I think is the greatest city in the world) and Denver (which is a close second) and picked up my love of sports from these two cities. I love the Denver Broncos, and I love the New York Mets (even though they never cease to break my heart). I also love writing (english was always my best subject in school), and I found out about Bleacher Report from fellow Broncos writer Sayre Bedinger, and from their advertisement on Facebook, where I serve as an administrator to a Denver Broncos fan group consisting of over 12,000 members. I am no bandwagoner or fair-weather fan... you won't see me change my loyalties when times get tough...ever.
I'm also a big fantasy football and baseba...

I'm a guy who got in football too late to play it in high school or college. But I love it too much to give up, so I intend to follow my dreams and do what the inspirational movies tell you to do. I want to be a great sportswriter on NFL and maybe be on the Hall of Fame Committee and an analyst for ESPN or NFL, I will not give it up no matter what.
I've recently been named a Community Leader for the Dallas Cowboys. I intend to keep that position for quite some time. But, I am not solely a Cowboy writer. I write on multiple subjects, and do a Cowboy piece every few articles.

10 - Chaz Mattson
Writer bio
Chaz Mattson has great insight into most of the sports world. His favorite sports to cover are baseball and football on the professional and college levels. He has previously been a high school coach and has been both a position coach and coordinator. Moreover he is creative and technical in his approach to writing and strategic problem solving. As a coach and player he experienced multiple undefeated and single loss seasons. As a Colorado native, he grew up watching the Broncos since 1970 and taught himself the game through watching games, research, and reading daily reports. Finally he also can give a sound opinion on the NFL, MLB, NCAA, NHL, Tennis, and Texas Hold Em strategies.

I love the NFL and am exceptionally pleased with the 4-1 start for my Denver Broncos, while I also like the Dolphins, Colts, Seahawks, Eagles and Lions. Obviously, some of these teams are successful, and some are not, but I also like the NBA (GO Mavs), college basketball and would like college football more, if it weren't for the lack of a playoff. I do have Italian in my bloodlines, so if I'm angry, that's why, while I also have British, Danish and Scottish stock. I am addicted to sports. I love the fight that is required for success and the thought provoking and painful preperation that builds a team. The ups and downs, the blood and the tears. The unrealisticly high expectations and the mountain's you must climb to acheive them.
My life in sports started with little league in a dirty little town named Pomona, Ca. Living with my Mother, a Sales person with product knowladge on everthing from babyfood to engine oil. We left Pomona to chase her dreams of top commisions and Pink Cadilac's with stops in Kansas City, Mo, St. Louis Mo and Chicago Il, never time for "trying out for the team" because we just weren't in town long enough. I love sports. I love to write. I figured I'd marry the two.
I know a thing or two about supporting heartbreaking teams as a longtime fan of the Denver Broncos and University of Virginia sports in general, and as a Red Sox supporter for about ten years. I've also experienced the joys of my favorite team winning it all a few times.
Hopefully you'll enjoy my musings from time to time and feel free to comment - your criticism and encouragement can only make me a better writer and a better fan.

"AcesCasino" is a 33-year season-ticket holder for the San Diego Chargers but has the uncanny ability to be unbiased towards the team as a result of an extensive NFL and NCAA handicapping pedigree. Proud of the fact that he had made more money wagering against the San Diego Chargers than ON the Chargers, Aces can be brutally honest about all teams in the National Football League, with the AFC Western Division being an easy target. Favorite handicapping theory -- Don't force it, wait for the good games to play. "Quality over quantity." Multiple title-holder in all types of fantasy football leagues, makes an annual trek to Las Vegas for the WSOP every summer, and values his reputation as much as his bank-roll. Aces Casino has a slightly acerbic tone at times, wh...

I'm having a lot of fun comp...

Hey, I'm Carlos Gomez, future screenwriter and huge sportsfan. I enjoy competition, but really have fallen in love with the history of the NFL, the many stories of the great human beings with amazing physical talent that have used said talent to rise above innumerable life situations. My one true love is writing, so why not combine the two? :P

Writer bio
Bryan is a long-time Steelers fan, hailing back to the glory days of the 70's when he was barely big enough to hold a football without falling over.
He is married with six (yes, I said SIX) children and stepchildren, two of which are either currently serving or on their way to serving in the military. Since retiring from the military himself in October 2008, he has jumped into the education field, where he is substitute teaching while finishing his degree inn Social Sciences
Bryan enjoys watching his Steelers play hard-nosed football, and has grown weary of reading the "professional" reporters articles which in his mind, consistently fail to give the Steelers their due (Pete Prisco comes to mind). He has decided to ensure that the GOOD in the Steelers is given equal tre...
