WWE Elimination Chamber 2012: RAW Chamber Match Set, Participants Revealed

A.D. Christian VitaleCorrespondent IIDecember 29, 2011

Elimination Chamber is always the pay-per-view that gets overlooked on the road to WrestleMania.

Because it is not considered a "Big Four" pay-per-view, many fans don't realize the amount of importance this event plays for WrestleMania storylines and feuds.

I think WWE creative realizes that this pay-per-view would be their last shot to put the title onto John Cena before his match with The Rock.

If they choose not to give the title to Cena, then the speculated match between CM Punk and Chris Jericho would most likely happen with the WWE Championship on the line.

With all of this being said, there are still many participants in next year's RAW Elimination Chamber match who could play a huge role going into WrestleMania.

According to Wrestlenewz.com:

- The RAW Elimination Chamber match in February is scheduled to be for the WWE Title with CM Punk, Alberto Del Rio, The Miz, R-Truth, Kane and John Cena. The outcome of the match will be decided based on if they want John Cena vs. The Rock at WrestleMania 28 to be for the WWE Title.

Obviously, the match could change if someone gets injured, however, expect for it to be a rewind of the 2011 feuds. After those feuds officially end, the new 2012 feuds can begin to unfold.

I will post more as the story comes out.

Stay tuned.
