NFL Playoffs Round Two: Conference Match-Ups and Predictions

Thomas MorelandJan 4, 2009

After a weekend of great action in the first round of the playoffs, we have some great match-ups and old rivalry's in this coming weekends games.

I will tell you who will win these key games in the next set of NFL playoffs.

The Baltimore Ravens travel to Tennessee to take on the Titans on their home field.

The Titans are a much better team, than the previous team Baltimore has beaten, the Miami Dolphins.

Physically, they will match up better, both on offense and defense. I expect Tennessee to win on it's home field and defend next week against the Pittsburgh Steelers at home once again.

Pittsburgh, after a much needed rest for their players, will meet San Diego, at home in Pittsburgh. The Steelers, who have the best defense in the league, in all categories, will make life miserable for San Diego and dominate this game at home.

San Diego's miraculous run will end in Pittsburgh.

The New York Giants will host the Philadelphia Eagles in the Meadowlands this weekend in the third game between these teams this season.

The running game will be firing on all cylinders for the Giants at home, and they have plenty of weapons to rely on, even with Plaxico Burress gone. Take the Giants to win this one at home!

The Carolina Panthers host the Arizona Cardinals in the other NFC matchup this weekend. Carolina plays too well at home to let Cardinals come in and ruin their Super Bowl aspirations.

Carolina will run on the Arizona defense, much harder than Atlanta attempted last week. Steve Smith is a play-maker and will be a factor as well.

There you have it, Titans, Steelers, Giants, and Carolina move on.

I was 3-1 last week, 167-92-1 overall for the season.

Good Luck if your team is not one of these four, you 'll need it.
