LOS ANGELES - MARCH 22: Pitcher Yu Darvish #11 of Japan celebrates after striking out Adam Dunn #17 of the United States to win the semifinal game of the 2009 World Baseball Classic on March 22, 2009 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California. Yu Darvish was paid millions to lose a boatload of games, David Beckham is like, so LA and yes, we can't go one freaking day without mentioning Tim freaking Tebow.

Welcome to the Daily Radar. The one place that knows how to properly procrastinate. Leave your comments in the place marked "Comments."

Let's dish.

In this edition:

Edmonton Oilers Taylor Hall suffered a pre-game mishap and found his face sliced by Corey Potter's skate. Now it's time for the aftermath photo. As you can see, it's quite horrific.

Question on Everybody's Mind: Will he be okay?

Our Take: His head shouldn't slide off anytime soon. The best part is that Hall's mommy has issued that he will have a helmet on at all times. Practice safe hockey, y'all.

Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Frankensteins

There is nothing we sports fans love more than an injury video or pictures of grotesque scars. You are sick, America. Sick I tell ya.

Life is not all laughs and levity. The news we all have been hoping would never come has indeed come to pass. Freestyle skiing legend Sarah Burke has died as a result of her injuries.

Legacy: Burke was a four-time Winter X Games champion and was a champion for inclusion of freestyle skiing in the Olympics. The sport will make its first appearance in the 2014 games.

The Story: Burke was injured on January 10th in training exercises on the superpipe at Park City Mountain Resort. She suffered head trauma that was characterized as "severe irreversible damage."

Out thoughts and well wished go out to Burke's family during this difficult time.

Indians pitching machine Fausto Carmona was arrested in the Dominican Republic for using the wrong name. It seems his real name is Roberto Hernandez Heredia. I would go under an alias too with that ERA.

Question on Everybody's Mind: Where does the deceit end?

Our Take: I have no idea. What if Carmona isn't even a crappy right-handed pitcher and is instead a mediocre third baseman. The head becomes woozy thinking of the possibilities.

Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Mistaken Identities

Have you ever noticed that Carmona and former slugger Miguel Tejada are never in the same place at the same time? I was just curious.

DALLAS, TX - MAY 25: Russell Westbrook #0 of the Oklahoma City Thunder reacts in the fourth quarter while taking on the Dallas Mavericks in Game Five of the Western Conference Finals during the 2011 NBA Playoffs at American Airlines Center on May 25, 201

We may have been a tad off about trouble brewing in Oklahoma City, because the Thunder just stated loud and clear that Russell Westbrook was their man with an $78 million, 5-year extension.

Question on Everybody's Mind: Was this a good move?

Our Take: Sure, the Westbrook may not be the nicest guy in the world, but chemistry is overrated. Shaq and Kobe nearly killed one another and they won three titles.

Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Shock and Awes

With all that money, Westbrook is going to make it rain at that steakhouse in Oklahoma City, or maybe celebrate at the local library. Wait, what is there to do in OKC?

LOS ANGELES, CA - MARCH 23: Relief pitcher Yu Darvish #11 of Japan throws a pitch against Korea during the finals of the 2009 World Baseball Classic on March 23, 2009 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California. Japan won 5-3 in 10 innings. (Photo by K

Yu Darvish is finally coming stateside to play for the Texas Rangers. He joins a long list of Japanese pitchers that immediately make for the bullpen or disabled list once they come to the majors.

Question on Everybody's Mind: Will Yu Darvish be a legend?

Our Take: Let's first concentrate on whether he can prove better than Hideo Nomo. Japanese pitchers have a far different work regimen and MLB teams are known to ruin their arms. Just ask Daisuke Matsuzaka how much duct tape he needed to repair his arm last season.

Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Shuutos

Here is to hoping that Yu Darvish can come in and be all that we have been promised he will be. After watching a handful of Japanese sure-things, I am banking on Chris Volstad winning a Cy Young before Darvish.

Octogenarian David Beckham has officially decided to stay in Los Angeles with the LA Galaxy. The games will have to be played much earlier so he can make the early bird special at Denny's.

Question on Everybody's Mind: Was this a good move?

Our Take: The move keeps the Beckhams in LA where they don't have to upend the family. The Galaxy get to keep the famous star for a couple more years, adding prestige to the club. And I have an excuse to link a clip to Spice World, the greatest movie ever made that featured all of the Spice Girls.

Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Bend It Like Mr. Posh's

The Galaxy won the MLS Cup and back-to-back Supporter's Shields. The league is far more visible than it was before Beckham. All kidding aside, this is a huge success for the still growing MLS.

Did you hear the one about Tim Tebow fighting the beasts of New England while injured. His smiting came as he dealt with an injured rib.

Question on Everybody's Mind: Is this some sick joke?

Our Take: No. Tim Tebow was dealing with torn rib cartilage which is supposed to be pretty painful. I give mad props to Tebow for the first time ever. With that said, what the hell is John Fox doing not playing Brady Quinn at least by halftime with an injured QB?

Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Are We Done Here's?

I am sick just thinking about what the media will drum up next. Soon we will find that Tebow was out working with charity group during snaps.

Wednesday was indeed a great day of protest. Even Glen Davis got in on the action as he dropped his pants after being called for a foul. I should see if that works next time I get pulled over for a ticket.

Question on Everybody's Mind: Bwhaaa?

Our Take: Davis took exception to a foul called after Richard Jefferson went up for a bucket. Like a baby, he chose to act out his grievance by pulling down his shorts. The only thing better would be Davis dropping to the floor and holding his breath.

Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Baby's Day Outs

One day, Glen Davis will make headlines for something that isn't utterly ridiculous and childish, or not. Actually, I am crossing my fingers for not
