When you think of some of the greatest WWE superstars that have passed through in the last 25 years you can think of alot of names. When I thought of writing this article I have a case for many of these wrestlers and letting you decide who the greatest WWE superstar in history.

1. Shawn Michaels

He is simply the innovator of the WWE. He was the first grand slam champion in history in 1997 in one of the most controversial years in WWE history. He is a multiple-time Intercontinental and WWE Champion.

He carried the company at their lowest point in the WWE in 1996. He was in the first ladder, Hell in a Cell, and Elimination Chamber match.

He will be a sure Hall of Famer after his battles with Triple H, Chris Jericho, Batista, Vince McMahon, and many more.

The most important thing is he stayed with the WWE throughout its rise and fall. HBK is in my opinion at the top of the list.

2. Stone Cold Steve Austin

The beer drinking, fingering gesturing, foul-mouthed son of a bitch that everyone loved. The greatest superstar to many the WWE would not be were it is today if SCSA was not there.

He has won three Royal Rumbles (the most in history) holds five Royal Rumble records and has headlined Wrestlemania on many occasions.

The night at the King of the Ring were Austin beat Jake "The Snake" Roberts as Austin said "You talk about your John 3:16, well Austin 3:16 just whooped your ass". That night Austin 3:16 was born and a revolution was born.

The great battles with Vince, Triple H, Undertaker, and many more made Austin what he is today the head of the class of 09 Hall of Fame. Austin is an IC, tag team, and world champ. but he transcended the WWE and he might be the greatest superstar in WWE history.

3. The Rock

The people's champ had probably the most electric 10 years in the WWE to date with battles with Stone Cold, Triple H, Big Show, and many more. He has been champ 7 different times. He beat the odds by beating the greatest of all time, Hulk Hogan.

The Rock left prematurely but left his mark, and you never know if he will ever come back. The one thing is for sure he will be one and only Rock and no one will ever have a career like the Rock did.

4. Hulk Hogan

A man who changed the WWE in the 80's and still today when you ask who Hulk Hogan is, people will most likely know his name. He has headlined more Wrestlemanias than anyone else and has been there from the beginning.

He will keep going for years to come, even when he's not wrestling anymore.

5. Triple H

The Game, The Cerebral Assassin, The King of Kings has dominated the WWE in some way for the last 10 years. HHH has beaten them all and then beaten them again. He has held tag team gold, European gold, Intercontinental gold, WWE title gold, and world title gold and will never be replicated again.

Triple H will always be the best and these are five of the most loyal and greatest wwe superstars ever.
