Players to Watch

Steve Stricker

The defending winner of this event and a winner in 2012, Steve Stricker has been quietly putting together a solid past year. If he finds his stroke early, there is no doubt Stricker could win this tournament again.

Hunter Mahan

After winning the Shell Houston Open and finishing 12th in the Masters, Hunter Mahan hasn’t had great success. With a solid track record at the Memorial, Mahan will be a factor on Sunday.

Bubba Watson

There is hot and then there is Bubba Watson hot. With three top-five finishes in his last five tournaments, including winning the Masters, Watson has a chance to win every tournament he enters.

Prediction: Steve Stricker

While there are many stars that could steal the show this weekend, there is not a player that has the better inside lane to a win than the former champion Steve Stricker.

If Stricker can keep his scores consistent, he will be in a position to make a run for the Memorial Tournament title.
