The Match That Never Happened: Hogan vs. Bret Hart at WrestleMania VI

When i think about Wrestle Mania VI, I think about what could have been.

The Year was 1990 and the talk was Hogan vs Warrior when it should have been Hogan vs Bret "Hitman" Hart. That Wrestle Mania was a complete waste because they put the title on an undeserving superstar.

So Warrior won the title but I think when you talk about the future of the WWE at the time as none other than The Hitman of the WWE Bret Hart. So the WWE had probably had the one biggest regret putting the title on someone that didn't need it.

Bret Hart is someone around the 90's who should have been given the ball and to have a match with Bret Hart and Hulk Hogan would have been huge.

So now that 19 years ago we look back at a match that had all the potential in the world but we will never see.So there always be one match from WrestleMania that you would switch one person in for another and this was probably the most important out of all them.

So when the title was one and the people cried as the wrong man won, the night was bittersweet at the time, but now that people think about it, Hulk Hogan should have walked out as Champion that night at WrestleMania VI.

The WWE has put people as champions just to fill up the spot sometimes instead of the people that deserved it. Bret Hart should have walked out WrestleMania VI as the WWE Champion.

To prove a point who was in the Main Event at Wrestle Mania the next year Hulk Hogan vs Sgt. Slaughter. Nothing against Slaughter, it was a good match, but Bret Hart should have been in that main event, but just another missed opportunity.

So after failure to have it in '90 and '91, So 1992 comes along and you know who's wrestling for the title not Hogan neither Bret Hart but Macho Man vs. Ric Flair and you know who Hogan is wrestling and this is the best part Psycho Sid; another opportunity to have maybe the greatest match ever and it doesn't happen again.

Bret Hart's Opponents at WrestleMania VI-The Hart Foundation def. The Bolsheviks, WrestleMania VII-The Nasty Boys w/ Jimmy Hart def. Hart Foundation to become new champions, WrestleMania VIII-Bret “Hit Man” Hart def. “Rowdy” Roddy Piper to become new champion.

So three years, three disappointments. The WWE had one more chance to do it and would have been historic it was WrestleMania IX outside the main event was Yokozuna vs Bret Hart and Money Inc. vs Hogan and Beefcake, another disappointment.

BUT WAIT A MINUTE if they would had Bret Hart win and had him face Hogan when he came out that would have been awesome, but NO Bret tells Hogan go and he went for 20 seconds and won the title and the opportunity was lost forever.

So the match that could have been epic will never happen, and that's how the story ends without a happy ending.

What did you expect it's the WWE.
