Euro 2012 Semifinals Predictions

Will Tidey@willtideySenior Manager, GlobalJune 26, 2012

Four teams are still alive at Euro 2012, and this week, those four will become two.

Fortunately for fans, both semifinals promise classic matchups.

The first semifinal is an all-Iberian showdown between Spain and Portugal. In one corner, you have the defending European and World Cup champs, and in the other, there’s Cristiano Ronaldo—probably Europe’s best player at the moment.

The second is a battle of traditional world powers. Germany and Italy will compete for a spot in the final, and between them, the two nations have won seven World Cup titles.

Who will win and advance to the final? Watch as B/R World Football Lead Writer Will Tidey and World Football Lead Blogger Michael Cummings make their picks, and add your own predictions to the comments below.
