What LeBron James Must Do to Win over the Media

Let the LeBron James image reclamation project begin! Winning is the ultimate PR move, as we're all a bunch of hypocrites who love to lionize the victorious athletes we formerly criticized. This is because we, the media and fans, love to live vicariously through winners. So LeBron should receive an ancillary benefit for reaching his primary goal of winning for the sake of winning.

It will still be hard to stop the criticism. The Miami Heat are widely hated, even if a title was the start of converting the haters. LeBron is still under a negative microscope, as evidenced by critics ripping on how he celebrated his championship ("He wore a shirt with his vampire face on it! The horror!").

There is much work to be done by Maverick Carter & Co. Perhaps ol' Mav has learned from the uber faux pas that was the Decision. Perhaps LeBron can go from villain to hero like a pro wrestling star.
