Dave's College Basketball Picks, Feb.25: Bradley at Evansville

dave darbySenior Analyst IFebruary 25, 2009

Bradley (16-12, 9-7 MVC) at Evansville (16-11, 9-7 MVC)

Line: Evansville -2.5

Bradley defeated Loyola Chicago in the “Bracket Buster” series last Saturday 86-75.

The key to the victory came from the free throw line. The Braves made 30 out of 37 freebies, while the Ramblers made it to the free throw line just 10 times, and made only four.

A win here secures at least a fourth place finish in the Missouri Valley Conference for Bradley. Bradley closes their regular season schedule at home against Drake on Saturday.

Evansville was too much for Miami (Ohio) on Saturday as the Aces beat the Redhawks 75-61. Down five at half, the Aces poured it on coming out of the locker room to out-score Miami by 19 points in the second half.

Evansville is in a three way tie for fifth place in the conference and finishes the regular season at Northern Iowa on Saturday.
