Dave's College Basketball Picks, Feb.28: Missouri State at Indiana State

dave darbySenior Analyst IFebruary 28, 2009

Missouri State (11-18, 3-14) at Indiana State (9-20, 6-11)

Line: Indiana State -3

Missouri State made it close most of the way, but fell short to Creighton 59-65 on Tuesday.  The Bears shot well and out rebounded the Blue Jays, but turned the ball over 19 times. Although this is a battle of the bottom two teams in the Missouri Valley Conference, the Bears cannot catch Indiana State as they are three games up on Missouri State.

Indiana State fell to the Shockers 70-76 on senior night in Wichita on Tuesday. The lost halted a five game winning streak, by far the longest of the season for the Sycamores. Indiana State won the first game of this series 76-71 back on Valentines Day.
