It's disclosure time again. If you are not a fan of spoilers, there is no need to read any further, especially if you are looking forward to all that the WWE has in store for Friday night's SmackDown.
Now that we have that out of the way, time to get down to business.
PWInsider is reporting:
WWE Hall of Famer Edge is scheduled for tonight's Smackdown in vignettes involving the Daniel Bryan and Kane "anger management" storyline. Edge's appearance is to promote the new season of Syfy's Haven. He will be regularly appearing on the series this season.
This is pretty cool considering Edge departed in such a sad note. Ultimately, the only way Edge can be utilized by the WWE is for segments like this and his talk show "The Cutting Edge." Obviously, he is a big name and well-respected by WWE stars and fans alike.
I, for one, am hopeful that the WWE makes "The Cutting Edge" a regular spot for SmackDown like they did with "Piper's Pit" after Roddy Piper retired. In the end, Edge would have to be into the idea, and the WWE would have to put their all into the segment.
Otherwise, it would just be a novelty and ruin the segment's legacy. Ultimately, we will have to tune in this Friday to see what the WWE has in store.
