Doug Rush@Doug_RushSenior Analyst IOctober 12, 2012

We are down to one game.

The winner moves on to play the Detroit Tigers in the ALCS, while the loser has its season end early. It's Game 5 of the ALDS between the New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles.

The series is tied at two games apiece, with no room for error.

Pitching for the Yankees will be CC Sabathia, who won Game 1 at Camden Yards for the Bombers.

For the Orioles, right-hander Jason Hammel will be looking to stop the Yankee lineup.

The big news of the day is the reported benching of Alex Rodriguez, as Eric Chavez will play third base and Raul Ibanez will be the DH,

Who will take Game 5 and move on in the playoffs? Follow live in this live blog of the game and check back for score updates.
