Will the Dallas Cowboys' Best Player End Up Getting Cut?

l hContributor IMarch 11, 2009

Let's face it, if we cowboy fans ever want to see another Super Bowl win, then we are going to have to release the players that aren't helping the team. Some players like Tony Romo, Marion Barber, DeMarcus Ware, Jason Witten, and Zach Tomas are almost worthless to the team.

Those players and other players on the team alike need to be released as soon as possible. Tony Romo or Marion Barber could also be traded for a veteran that has played in the NFL for at least nine years. That way we have nine-13 year veterans that are smart and have good leadership skills.

I mean just think about it, picture the Dallas cowboys with no young and dumb players, all smart 9-13 year veterans. That would be the dominating team in the NFL. What we really need to focus on is getting in contact again with Emmit Smith and to try and get him back on the roster.

He could do wonders for the team. We could also get in contact and sign Troy Aikman. Barry Sanders will probably be in the free agency by next season in 2009.
