In the co-main event of UFC on Fuel in China, Brazilian badass Thiago Silva met up with Bulgarian beast Stanislav Nedkov. When it was all said and done, the fight was not the most exciting, but Silva defeated Nedkov with an arm-triangle choke.

Here's what we learned from the bout.

What We'll Remember About This Fight

The third round. A majority of the fight was disappointing, but the third round saw Silva come out fired up and bring the fight to Nedkov. The arm-triangle choke was masterfully locked in, and Silva got the win by tapout.

What We Learned About Stanislav Nedkov

He is a tough fighter, but he needs to work on fighting off his back. I doubt he has ever been planted on his back due to his high-level wrestling background, but once Silva got him down, he was quickly put away.

What We Learned About Thiago Silva

Silva may be the most dangerous when his back is against the wall. We saw it when he fought Rashad Evans, and we saw it here with Nedkov. He was arguably trailing on the scorecards, but he came out with a purpose in the third and earned the tapout. He is still a top light heavyweight in the UFC.

What's Next for Nedkov

I think the loser of Joey Beltran-Anthony Perosh, which takes place at UFC on FX 6, should be the next opponent for Nedkov. It would be a good chance to get back on track against two guys that could give him a tough fight.

What's Next for Silva

It was not the greatest performance by Silva, but it was nonetheless a win. I think a date with another recent winner, fellow Brazilian Vinny Magalhaes, should be in Silva's near future.
