Although initial reports stated that this month's YouTube pre-show at the Survivor Series pay-per-view would feature the team of 3MB (a three man band featuring Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal, and Drew McIntyre) against the rising CoBro Team (Zack Ryder and Santino Marella) (via prowrestling.net with citation to PWTorch.com contributor @MJCupach), WWE.com is now reporting that Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel are to take on 3MB instead.
The WWE.com article does not mention why Marella and Ryder were swapped for the up-and-coming team of Kidd and Gabriel. Although given the WWE's current system of changing matches at the last minute, this is not a surprise.
Of note is the fact that 3MB member, Drew McIntyre will not be present at the pay-per-view—he is still dealing with the death of his mother (via cagesideseats.com).
Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel versus Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal should be a solid match, but in no way the sort of match which would help promote the career of any of these four men.
The change from Team CoBro versus 3MB, in many ways, actually hurts the previously established storyline that pitted Marella and Ryder against the Three Man Band.
In the end, this looks to be just another filler match continuing the tradition of the WWE giving free matches away on YouTube that first started at WrestleMania 28 in April of this year .
The match can be seen on YouTube.com this Sunday starting at 7:30pm ET/4:30pm PT.
