Well, it's no secret that The Miz is in the midst of his first solo run as a face.

This was a great move for Survivor Series, but the question remains: What happens after Sunday's pay-per-view?

According to WrestlingInc.com, the WWE is already floating some ideas out there:

We noted before that WWE has plans to organically turn The Miz to a babyface over the next few months and that one feud discussed for 2013 is against rising star Antonio Cesaro. Other potential feuds for babyface Miz next year include Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk.

To me, it seems like Cesaro or Ziggler would be the best fit for the former WWE champ. Let's face it, The Miz has kind of lost his luster in the past year, and I think it's safe to say that a main-event run isn't in the cards for him right now.

Don't get me wrong, he can always attempt a comeback and manage to find his way back. However, as it currently stands, he is no better than an upper mid-card guy. Granted, there is nothing wrong with that, but is that where he truly belongs?

In 2010-11, The Miz became one of the fastest-rising stars that the company had. He won the Money in the Bank briefcase and cashed it in on Monday Night Raw to take the title off of then-champion Randy Orton. He went on to hold the strap for about six months and even had a successful WrestleMania defense against John Cena during the run.

Then, seemingly out of nowhere, he went from main event, to mid-card, to dark matches. During this fall from grace, the WWE Universe witnessed the rise of CM Punk, and the rest is history.

Hopefully, for The Miz's sake, he will be embraced by fans and turn his career around. In the end, if the fans and the WWE machine aren't all in on this face turn, it could prove detrimental to his career.
