---End of Update---

The 6'2", 230-pound senior has 93 tackles, three interceptions and 2.5 sacks in 10 games this season for Penn State. Mauti, who's a native of Mandeville, Louisiana, is considered to be one of the top five inside linebackers coming out of college football this year, according to ESPN.

Mauti leads the Nittany Lions in total tackles, solo tackles and interceptions this fall. It would be a huge blow for Bill O'Brien's squad if the senior leader is forced to miss the team's season finale next week because of his injury.

Penn State is 6-4 and will conclude its season on Saturday, November 24 vs. Big Ten leader and division rival Wisconsin.
