With an exciting 11th week under our belts, here are the LestersLegends 2012 Week 12 fantasy football team defense rankings.

1. Chicago Bears

Da Bears did not look good on Monday Night Football. They were manhandled by the San Francisco 49ers. I expect Jay Cutler to return, which will help the offense and put the defense in better situations.
The Bears rank fifth in total defense (312.1 yards allowed per game) and third in scoring defense (16.5 points allowed per game).

They force a ton of turnovers and often take them to the house. Chicago will put pressure on Christian Ponder and likely force the Minnesota Vikings into some mistakes.

2. Denver Broncos

The Broncos have been coming on. Peyton Manning gets them a lead and then it’s (Von) Miller Time. They rank sixth in total defense (312.8) and 11th in scoring defense (21.2). The Kansas City Chiefs rank last in scoring offense (15.2 points per game).

3. Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks rank third in total defense (296.8) and second in scoring defense (16.1). The Miami Dolphins rank 28th in total offense (309.9) and 26th in scoring offense (18.7). They are averaging 12.3 points during their current three-game losing streak.

4. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers lead the league in total defense (259.1) and rank fifth in scoring defense (19.0). The Cleveland Browns rank 27th in total offense (311.9) and 25th in scoring offense (18.9).

5. Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens are giving up plenty of yards (382.3 per game), but rank ninth in scoring defense (20.6). They have allowed just 15 points per game during their current three-game winning streak. The San Diego Chargers rank 23rd in total offense (328.8).

6. New England Patriots

The Pats are middle-of-the road defensively. They give up a lot of yards, especially through the air but not a lot of points. The New York Jets rank 28th in total offense (301.3) and 23rd in scoring offense (20.2).

7. St. Louis Rams

The Rams rank 11th in total defense (337.4). The Arizona Cardinals rank 31st in total offense (283.7) and 30th in scoring offense (16.3). They are averaging 12 points a game during their current six-game losing streak.

8. Carolina Panthers

The Panthers are a mediocre defensive unit, but the Philadelphia Eagles are a mess. They will likely be playing without LeSean McCoy. It doesn’t matter who is playing quarterback. They are turnover prone and struggle offensively. The Birds rank 31st in scoring offense (16.2).

9. Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals are losing, but you can’t blame the defense. They rank ninth in total defense (324) and seventh in scoring defense (19.6). The Rams rank 24th in total offense (327.1) and 28th in scoring offense (17.4).

10. Houston Texans

The Texans rank fourth in both total defense (299.2) and scoring defense (18). The Detroit Lions have a potent offense, but they have allowed 13 turnovers and 22 sacks.
