If you believe in the Sports Illustrated cover jinx, it is not a good time to be a fan of Notre Dame football, as the Fighting Irish, along with Touchdown Jesus, are gracing the cover of the magazine this week.

Bryan Armen Graham of Sports Illustrated posted a picture of the cover on Twitter Tuesday morning, which also features the headline "The Notre Dame Miracle."

This is the second consecutive week that the No. 1 team in college football, at least according to the BCS, has been on the cover.

Last week's issue featured Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein and the headline "The BCS Matrix Begins with K-State's Collin Klein: 27 Things You Need to Know About the Best Player on the Nation's Best Team."

To be fair to Sports Illustrated and Kansas State, Klein has been arguably the best player in the country this season. It just wasn't good enough to keep Baylor from putting up 52 points against the Wildcats defense.

Notre Dame has not been hurting for publicity this season. Star linebacker Manti Te'o has already graced the cover of Sports Illustrated in 2012, and he has a shot at being invited to New York for the Heisman Trophy ceremony next month.

The Fighting Irish are one win over USC away from completing their first undefeated regular season since 1988 and playing in their first BCS Championship Game.
