They've done it again.

Phil Knight and the wonderful folks that work for him at Nike have supplied the Oregon Ducks with a new uniform combination for today's "Civil War" contest against Oregon State.

The new jerseys feature yellow helmets, white shirts and yellow pants, a combination yet to be seen by the Oregon faithful this season.

The Ducks have been on the cutting edge when it comes to game-day apparel for several years now, seemingly able to produce more uniform combinations than costume changes at a Madonna concert.

This seems to be surprisingly clean, with the only green to be found in the "feathers" and on the numbers, while limiting the black, silver, dark green and grey, to which we have grown accustomed.

Even so, reaction on Twitter seems to indicate that fans are in favor of the new threads:

Oregons uniforms for today. Literally looks like a duck 🐥 #QuackQuack #GoDucks twitter.com/OREGON__DUCKS/…

Oregon never ceases to amaze me with their uniforms #swag

But it's not unanimous:

@jeffklein68 I have you know these Oregon uniforms look like a term paper decimated by yellow highlighter marks

Like them or not, you have to admit that these are the most "duck-like" uniforms Oregon has yet to wear on the gridiron.
