Both Tottenham and Liverpool are at opposite ends of the spectrum heading into this match, and something is bound to break open.

The Tottenham Hotspurs enter this match 6-5-2, ending their losing streak with a big win over West Ham, 3-1. Liverpool is 3-3-7 on the season, unbeaten in eight-straight Premier League games—most recently, a 0-0 draw against Swansea.

Both sides are looking to break away from recent habits; can Liverpool remain unbeaten in nine-straight EPL games?

Will Tottenham extend their winning streak to two-straight games?

These are the players to watch in tomorrow's match of Tottenham vs. Liverpool:

Jermain Defoe of Tottenham

Jermain Defoe comes into this match after posting two goals against West Ham. His rate of shooting accuracy has increased to 60.8 percent—31-of-51 attempts have been on target.

The striker is expected to hit at least 20 goals this season, which would be a high mark in Defoe's career.

The difference in this game will be on offense, considering that both sides have lacked it up to this match.

Look for Defoe to be a major contributor in a Tottenham win.

Luis Suarez of Liverpool

Luis Suarez is the leading scorer for Liverpool, and he also leads the Premier League in goals scored.

In 13 matches, Suarez has 10 goals and two assists to help lead the Reds to the middle-of-the-pack in the Premier League.

Make no mistake, any contribution from Suarez could signify a win for Liverpool.

The striker will enter this game with a sense of urgency after Liverpool's offensive effort last game.

Gareth Bale of Tottenham

Gareth Bale is having another successful season for Tottenham.

The attacking midfielder is coming off a goal and a crossbar hit against West Ham and looks to be a factor against Liverpool.

Coming in hot to this matchup, Bale may add another goal to his resume to put Tottenham over the top.

Steven Gerrard of Liverpool

Steven Gerrard enters this matchup as the only player on the bottom-half side to have had up to 400 successful passes.

His contributions will add up for Liverpool if this matchup becomes the defensive battle that it is predicted to be.

The midfielder will continue to impress fans and may even assist on the winning goal for Liverpool in this matchup.

Liverpool will defeat Tottenham, 2-1, in their upcoming matchup, as Suarez will have the deciding goal late in the match.

Liverpool will extend their eight-game unbeaten streak to nine games, but this time, it will come in the form of a win.

Tottenham will continue their up-and-down season—winning big against West Ham and now a loss to Liverpool.
