Clubs That Could Benefit from Signing David Beckham

Will TideySenior Manager, GlobalNovember 30, 2012

David Beckham will make his LA Galaxy bow in Saturday’s MLS Cup against Houston Dynamo, bringing the curtain down on his six-season star turn on the West Coast.

The 37-year-old former Manchester United, Real Madrid, AC Milan and England midfielder has vowed to carry on playing. He seeks one last challenge and rumours abound as to where he will find it.

Many clubs could benefit from signing him, not least from a financial standpoint—with brand Beckham as powerful as ever and commercial deals likely to flood in.

Could Beckham try to conquer an emerging market, in somewhere like Australia, China or Russia?

Or will he choose to put his playing ambitions first and opt instead for a swan song somewhere in Europe—perhaps back in England with Queens Park Rangers, or maybe in France with PSG or Monaco?

In this clip, Bleacher Report Lead Writers Will Tidey and Mike Cummings run through his options and try to figure out Beckham’s most likely destination.
