Oklahoma vs. TCU: Live Scores, Analysis and Results

Alex Callos@@alexcallosCorrespondent IDecember 1, 2012

Oklahoma 24, TCU 17, Final

Oklahoma did everything it could to give this game away, but in the end it was the Sooners defense that prevailed.

Landry Jones passed for 244 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.

The difference for the Sooners was the play of running back Damien Williams, particularly in the second half. Williams rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown on only 18 carries on the day.

Two key Oklahoma turnovers along with a few big plays kept TCU in the game.

Quarterback Trevone Boykin had a few big plays to help pad his stats, but struggled for most of the day.

The Sooners will now become fans of Texas tonight as a win will give Oklahoma the Fiesta Bowl berth and outright Big 12 title.
