Matthew Roth@mattroth512Featured ColumnistDecember 13, 2012

Bleacher Report caught up with James Head at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino as he prepares to take on Mike Pyle.

Head is currently on a two fight winning streak and looks to put the welterweight division on notice with a win over Pyle on Saturday night.

In the video, Head reflects on his win over Brian Ebersole, and also discusses why he competes.

For those that are unaware, Head is a petroleum engineer by day, yet finds the time to train full-time for all of his UFC fights.

Head vs. Pyle is at the top of the Fuel TV preliminary card at The Ultimate Fighter: Team Carwin vs Team Nelson finale.
