Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor saw his first action of the 2012 NFL season Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs after the coaching staff decided to bench Carson Palmer.

Pryor only remained in the game for three offensive snaps, and the first and only pass he attempted was in the dirt.

That didn't stop Twitter from blowing up over Pryor's debut.

Pryor, the man from Ohio State who the Raiders selected in the Supplemental Draft, may or may not be the answer under center for the Raiders. Let's take a look at how the Twitter world reacted.

Many Raiders fans were happy with the move, as some either wanted Palmer out from under center or simply couldn't wait to see how the athletic Pryor would do during a regular season game:

What I called the worst NFL trade ever for Carson Palmer is coming to a meltdown, Palmer on the bench Terrelle Pryor in

Well at least we know what Terrelle Pryor can do with those 3 snaps. #samplesize

The #Raiders aren't playing for anything so they might as well see what Terrelle Pryor is capable of.

Of course, there were also some humerous reactions, such as one taking shots at the tattoo scandal Pryor was involved with while at Ohio State:

"@barrettall: Terrelle Pryor is in at QB for the #Raiders. His first professional game since he was at Ohio State.".This cracked me up.

Finally, there were those upset that Pryor didn't receive more attention from the coaching staff:

This would've been the perfect time to evaluate Terrelle Pryor #Raiders doesn't make sense why he is not in

So Reggie and DA want to see what they have with Terrelle Pryor and he plays 3 snaps?? Seems like they've made up their mind already..

Regardless of the future for Pryor in Oakland, one thing's for sure—Pryor is a polarizing figure for Raiders and NFL fans alike. In simply three snaps, he became the talk of every NFL fanbase. It's clear that Pryor is a hot topic, and we're just getting started as his NFL career develops.
