It’s Championship Thursday this week on TNA’s Impact Wrestling, and three titles will be defended on this edition of the show.

Not only will Jeff Hardy defend the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Austin Aries, Devon will fight Kurt Angle for the TV Title and Tara will be forced to defend the Knockouts Championship.

Add in plenty of talk about the Aces and Eights, as well as the progressing heel turn of AJ Styles, and this week’s edition could be as wild as ever.

Where: Universal Studios, Orlando, Fla.

When: Thursday, Dec. 20, at 8 p.m. ET

Watch: Spike TV

Jeff Hardy versus Austin Aries for the World Title

In what will be the third installment of this epic in-ring battle, TNA is teasing a world title match between the defending champion Jeff Hardy and Austin Aries. While this match would be amazing, I find it difficult to believe the company would give this match away on TV.

Question on Everybody's Mind: Will We Get this Main Event?

As much as most fans would love to see these two battle again, this is something that should be saved for the pay-per-views. Add in the fact that Aries said at the close of last week’s show that he didn’t want to fight hardy, and this likely won’t happen.

Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Storylines Being Developed

As much as the viewers at home would be upset if this match doesn't happen, they would be forced to tune in to see what comes of the possible match and the world title scene. This is basic booking and TNA must follow through.

TNA Rumors: TNA not happy with Impact's production (Wrestling Inc.)

More Aces and Eights

After weeks and weeks of the Aces and Eights storyline enveloping the weekly Impact Wrestling broadcasts, the purpose of their presence in the TNA building is unknown and their intentions are unclear. This isn’t a mystery; it’s annoying.

Question on Everybody's Mind: Why Get Kurt Angle Involved?

TNA has one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time in Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle on its roster, yet the company continues to exclude him from the world title scene and bury him in a TV Title match against Devon.

Hype Meter: 1 out of 5 Death Knells

With Final Resolution marking the perfect chance to have another reveal, TNA has slow played this angle to the point where fans are starting to grow uninterested. If the company doesn’t turn this invasion angle into something meaningful fast, they will kill their programming.
