Give credit to the Chicago Bulls for hanging around without Derrick Rose. But how good will they be when he returns?

The optimists reason that because the team is already hovering around the top half of the Eastern Conference playoff field, this is a legit title contender once Rose is back.

The pessimists counter that there's no way Rose can bounce back from his injury at full strength, be an elite player AND lead a flawed Bulls roster to the NBA Finals just by taking the court again.

In this episode of Basketball by Association, NBA assistant editors Ethan Norof and Joel C. Cordes welcome Bleacher Report Lead Writer Jonathan Wasserman to set realistic expectations for Chicago and Rose as they await #thereturn.
