Manchester United looks to continue its domination of the EPL when it takes on Newcastle United at Old Trafford.

December has been a great month for United. The Red Devils made a huge statement that they are the best club in the league by winning three EPL matches and playing Swansea to a draw. Another win for the club would offer a chance to tighten its grip on the No. 1 spot.

Newcastle has experienced an up-and-down month of December, winning against Wigan Athletic and QPR but losing matches to Manchester City and Fulham. A win over the league's top club would certainly be huge to close out the month and offer a shot of redemption after the bad loss to City.

Heading into this game the most interesting matchup should be how the United defense matches up against the Newcastle attack.

We know that Man U will be able to find the goal—the Red Devils' attack is a finely-tuned machine and their star power should be too much for the Newcastle defense to handle.

The real question is whether or not Newcastle can make this a close contest by capitalizing on scoring opportunities. Forward Demba Ba is one of the top scorers in the league so this is a great opportunity for him to show off his skills against the top team in the Premier League.

Manchester United should win this match easily, but the presence of Ba in the lineup will make it a fun match to watch.
