New England dominated Miami from the get-go and never looked back, finishing the game with superior numbers in virtually every statistical category.

But, even with approximately $45 million in cap space and five draft picks in the first three rounds, this team has way too many shortcomings to come back as a contender in 2013.
Ryan Tannehill is surrounded by one of, if not the NFL's worst supporting cast. Not only did his wide receivers struggle to get separation throughout the afternoon, but Miami's offensive line gave Tannehill no protection, yielding seven sacks.
While the Dolphins cap off their fourth consecutive losing season, the Patriots enter the playoffs for the 10th time in the last 12 years.
