As it turns out, even a store display of Tim Tebow's uniform can't seem to get up off the bench.

We bring an end to the madness that was the New York Jets 2012 season with an image that pretty much encapsulates what Tebow has become.

He is the most famous bench warmer in history.

Thanks to ESPN's Darren Rovell, we have this image of a display from a Dick's Sporting Goods.

You can almost see a disappointed Tim Tebow face take up residence in that empty helmet. In fact, the whole team on display looks pretty sad in my eyes.

After an amazing season with the Denver Broncos, Tebow was sent to the New York Jets, where things have wavered somewhere between mediocre and miserable.

Despite having an underperforming Mark Sanchez and an injured Greg McElroy, Tebow failed to get off the bench for more than a moment at the close of the season.

While Sanchez was off throwing for 205 yards and an interception in the Jets' loss to the Bills on Sunday, Tebow was forced to simply watch it all happen.

At least he got some pretty good seats to the show this season.

Twitter is where it all goes down, hit me up.
