The Thursday, January 10 edition of TNA Impact! Wrestling began with a complete video package recapping the latest events on the show.

Sting, Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe kick-started Impact! Wrestling by heading towards the ring. Inside the ring, Sting said that he is just getting started and called out Aces and Eights for a battle. Joe took over control of the microphone and told Aces and Eights that they will be knocked out by him. Joe then handed over the microphone to Angle, who said that he will be the person who exposes Aces and Eights. Angle also called out Mr. Anderson for answers on whether he is with Aces and Eights or not.

Mr. Anderson came out and stood ringside. He recalled the moment when Aces and Eights attacked him backstage and questioned why nobody helped him. Angle then questioned Mr. Anderson, asking him if he was with Aces and Eights or if he was against them. Afterward, Mr. Anderson stepped into the ring and told Angle that he does not need to answer him. Angle then quickly attacked Mr. Anderson in the ring.

Match No. 1: Kenny King vs. Zema Ion.

Your winner via pin fall: Kenny King.

With the victory, King will square off against Christian York at the Genesis pay-per-view. That winner will face Rob Van Dam for the TNA X-Division title. This was a decent opening X-Division match with plenty of action in a short amount of time.

Match Rating: 3/5.

Match No. 2: Tara and Jesse vs. Robbie T and Miss Tessmacher.

Your winners via pin fall: Robbie T and Miss Tessmacher.

After the match, Robbie T and Miss Tessmacher danced together in the ring, while Robbie E looked on with surprise. It appears TNA is finally giving Robbie T some sort of a push after weeks of simply standing by ringside.

Match Rating: 2.5/5.

Match No. 3: Brian Cage vs. Jay Bradley.

Your winner via pin fall: Jay Bradley.

This was a pretty good TNA Gut Check match. Both Cage and Bradley performed well and have potential to do well in TNA.

Match Rating: 3/5.

After a commercial break, Joseph Park stood in the middle of the ring. He invited Hulk Hogan to come out. Hogan arrived to the ring and congratulated Park on his success at the wrestling camp that he attended. Park thanked Hogan for his support and asked him to battle Aces and Eights. Hogan, who was reluctant to allow him to wrestle, changed his mind and granted Park the match.

Hogan's daughter, Brooke, appeared on the entrance way screen and told her father to stay in the ring. In the ring, Brooke asked Hogan to allow Bully Ray to come back to TNA. Hogan immediately told Brooke that he will not allow Ray to return and leaves the ring.

Match No. 4: Bobby Roode and Austin Aries vs. James Storm and Jeff Hardy.

Your winners via disqualification: Jeff Hardy and James Storm.

Aries hit Hardy in the back with the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. This was a decent tag team match that served its purpose by hyping the TNA World Heavyweight title match that is set to take place at the Genesis pay-per-view.

Match Rating: 3.5/5.

Mr. Anderson arrived to the ring first, followed by Angle. After Mr. Anderson teased everyone by coming into the ring to have a match, Mike Knox of Aces and Eights attacked Angle in the back with a hammer. Angle was then taken out by a stretcher and taken backstage.

Sting's music then played, and he challenged Knox to face him in the ring.

Match No. 5: Sting vs. Mike Knox.

Your winner via pin fall: Sting.

Although it was an unimpressive main event, Sting continues to look good both inside and outside the ring. It appears as though he has not missed a step since being off TNA television. Also, Knox's first TNA match was nothing spectacular, as he was limited with only a few offensive moves.

Match Rating: 3/5.

After the match, Sting hit Knox with a hammer in the ring. As Sting was about to hit Knox again, Devon began to yell at ringside to stop. Devon and the rest of Aces and Eights had Brooke. After Devon asked Sting what he will do, Ray stormed from the entrance way and saved Brooke. Hogan was shown at the entrance way with his arms folded.

In the ring, Hogan began to rant on Ray, telling him that he is not the person for Brooke. Ray told Hogan that he was wrong and then began to talk about his love for professional wrestling. Ray then looked at Brooke and began to explain about his feelings towards her. Afterwards, he got down to one knee, put a ring on Brooke's hand and told her how much he loved her.

Ray asked Brooke to marry him. With joy, Brooke accepted and Ray announced that next week on Impact! Wrestling, they will get married. Hogan left the ring and showed his frustration while walking backstage as the show closed.
