Islanders Forward Matt Martin Allegedly Dating Boomer Esiason's Daughter

Being the beautiful daughter of former star quarterback Boomer Esiason was enough to make daughter Sydney a minor Internet celebrity. Now the Boston College student is hit with rumors she is dating none other than New York Islanders forward Matt Martin

Busted Coverage does it again in uncovering another sports-related hookup.

The website has delivered a great deal of Esiason news in the past, most notably a collection of photos in an article entitled, "Sydney is Hottest College Athlete of 2011-2012," stemming from her playing on the BC Lacrosse team.

Now they have some more gold for the interwebz in the form of a report she is dating Martin as well as staving off possible flirtations from other hockey players.

We didn’t realize there was a Martin/Esiason relationship until a tipster pointed out this week on Twitter that Boston Bruins walking horndog Tyler Seguin was seemingly hitting on Sydney, still a Boston College student. One thing led to another and word came down from our source that Martin is already on a power-play with Boom’s only beautiful blonde daughter.

That's right, they spotted some rather interesting tweets coming from Seguin only to be shot down by the blond stunner.

Seguin was unable to score on the attempted power play.

Which is a good thing because Busted Coverage reminds us Martin set a record for hits last season and is not the least bit afraid to get after it on the ice.

Not to worry, Boomer. It seems Sydney is in good hands.

Hit me up on Twitter for more swaggy swag.
