One of the many criticisms that has been levied at the Pro Bowl is that the game itself is a farce, that the players give very little effort, resulting in a snooze-fest like the ones fans were forced to endure a year ago.

Apparently someone forgot to tell Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt.

The second-year pro, who is the leading candidate for Defensive Player of the Year after pacing the NFL in sacks with 20.5 in 2012, suffered a nasty-looking cut on his finger in the game's first quarter.

Watt, for his part, shook off the cut just like it was a regular season game. While being interviewed on the sideline by Michele Tafoya, Watt also had a message for commissioner Roger Goodell, who has discussed cancelling the Pro Bowl if the level of effort doesn't improve.
