The Rock will be in the building, but will Jay-Z throw up the diamond and perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show?

It definitely looks possible.

Jay-Z and Beyonce will be making the rounds through New Orleans this week, and are reportedly putting on a private event the night before the big game.

A heaping pile of musical talent is scheduled to perform at the Super Bowl and all around New Orleans this weekend.

Beyonce is headlining the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Justin Timberlake will be putting on his first big performance in four years Saturday night at DirecTV’s “Super Saturday Night.” And Stevie Wonder, Lil Wayne, Cee Lo Green and Questlove will also be performing in NOLA this weekend.

And the big question is—with all this musical titans throwing down in the same town—will Hova be able to resist hopping on stage and rocking the mic at some point?

People close to the rap mogul have been tight-lipped when asked to confirm whether or not Jay is considering performing.

Per the Associated Press

“Mum’s the word,” said Questlove, longtime drummer for the hip-hop group The Roots.

“All that is under wraps."

All right, Quest—I see how you’re playing it. I can appreciate a man who won’t snitch.

But the fact that he would neither confirm nor deny definitely makes it sound like something could be in the works.

Come on, Jay. It’s been a decade since the ’03 Bonnie and Clyde came out.

And what better way to celebrate the ten-year anniversary than doing it live at the Super Bowl?
