In what can only be described as a home crowd, the Texas Longhorns outplayed the Stanford Cardinal in the first half of the South Regional Semi-Final.

Led by D.J. Augustin's 12 points, the Longhorns head into the locker room with a 43-34 lead.

Brook Lopez is leading Stanford, scoring 15 points and grabbing eight rebounds. On the defensive end, he seems to be having trouble keeping up with the Longhorns' Connor Atchley, especially when Atchley sets up outside.

An interesting thing to watch in the second half is the officiating down on the low block. The Lopez twins seem to be getting every call in the paint, resulting in three fouls on Texas post players.

Check back for post-game reaction.
