Barcelona put on their Sunday best as they took apart Getafe 6-1 in the midday sunshine in Catalunya.

Andres Iniesta was magnificent for the first two goals as Alexis Sanchez and Lionel Messi put Barca into a 2-0 half time lead.

David Villa and substitute Cristian Tello then made it 4-0 before Alvaro Vazquez pulled back a consolation for Getafe.

But that was not that and in the last few minutes Barca added two more, through Iniesta and Gerard Pique, to put the gloss on the score line which was probably deserved.
