Denver Nuggets vs. Boston Celtics 2/10/13: Video Highlights and Recap

It took three overtimes on Sunday before the Boston Celtics (27-23) defended their home court by taking down the 33-19 Denver Nuggets 118-114.

The Celtics outscored the Nuggets 26-22 in the three overtimes. This continued the revitalized Celtics impressive current run. They have now run off seven wins in a row and are undefeated since losing star point guard Rajon Rondo for the season with a knee injury. 

This thrilling game was the product of two hot teams colliding, as the loss snapped the Nuggets' nine-game winning streak. 

Player of the Game: Paul Pierce

Pierce was outstanding. He drilled a three at the end of the second overtime to force the third extra period and was huge all game. He finished with 27 points, 14 rebounds and 14 assists. 

What's Next

The Celtics will hit the road to take on the Charlotte Bobcats on Monday and then return home to host the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday.

This was the second game of the Nuggets' four-game road trip. They will wrap it up by taking on the Raptors on Tuesday and the Nets on Wednesday.
