J.R. Smith recently took his Twitter game to a whole new level, and even managed to create a brilliant new hashtag while he was at it.

Deadspin brings us the latest in what is a long string of J.R. Smith entertaining millions with a simple tweet.

As the report reminds us, Smith once got into hot water for tweeting a picture of a female friend's backside. In this case, he managed to keep things as clean as he possibly could.

We present to you, a screen capture from Smith to a female fan taken last month.

Well, this story could have easily devolved into the deeper recesses of the unfortunate, much like his shot selection.

Instead, Smith followed that screen capture up with this photo from his Instagram

And with that, a new ubiquitous hashtag is born.

If you are laughing at the brilliant response, you are not alone. Here are just some of the reactions which range between something of a virtual applause to complete mania.

Deadspin has more information in a bizarre situation that really could have been far more dicey than you might think.

We don't know if anything happened after the game. We do know that Smith went 0-for-8 that night. We do know that the girl in the Twitter conversation is a senior in high school. We do know that the age of consent in Pennsylvania is 16.

The man has never met a shot he didn't like, nor an opportunity on Twitter he wasn't wiling to exploit for some laughs.

Smith flipped the script in the only way he can.

Of course, we will give the Knicks star the benefit of the doubt, especially considering he just tweeted this marvel out as well.

Now you can go ahead and flirt with him on Twitter if you like. But something tells me he will be far more skeptical before he starts rattling off some game.

Hell, maybe he will just want to discuss some classy looking pipes.

Hit me up on Twitter for more NBA nonsense.
