Michael Phelps is human. Those comforted by that fact may be interested to see him throw a golf club in pure frustration.

The most decorated Olympian of all time is being featured in the latest episodes of The Haney Project

In one of the more memorable moments, Phelps tosses his club after shanking his drive horribly off the side of a hill.

Any act of petulance will end up looking foolish, but this particular southpaw toss is far more silly than the former swimmer would have liked.

Yahoo! Sports managed to capture the video from the episode that will surely make most golf fans giggle.

Even Hank Haney thought it was hilarious, offering "that wasn't even a good attempt at being mad." No, it wasn't.

I think we can all agree golf is one of the most frustrating and aggravating endeavors we might actually do for pleasure. Every good round features at least a few moments when you want to go full Happy Gilmore and destroy everything around.

In this case, Phelps delivers one of the most polite meltdowns we have ever seen.

Even Rory McIlroy thinks he should have given that toss a little more enthusiasm. You can almost sense that Phelps thinks about whether he should toss the club for a second.

Knowing that this is the same guy who dropped a putt from miles away, seeing him struggle is rather refreshing.
