Pittsburgh Penguins 2 - Washington Capitals 1

The Washington Capitals were able to make things interesting.

It took the Pittsburgh Penguins until the third period before they could take the lead and after that they never looked back.

The turning point of the game had to be the four minute penalty that the Penguins were able to kill off.

They killed it, without giving the Capitals much of anything, and then were able to turn around and score the go-ahead goal seconds after the penalty ended.

The Capitals played well and will hopefully be able to improve their power play as they move along. Missing Mike Green is definitely a factor.

As for the Penguins, they continue their hot play as of late and are now on a 10 game winning streak.

With play like this, the Pens have to be a front-runner to win the Stanley Cup.
