The 2014 World Cup is fast approaching its one-year-to-go mark. Brazil’s stadia are being readied, and by the close of 2013, we’ll know the identities of all the qualified nations.
The teams mentioned as early favorites in this clip will be among them.
Spain will arrive at the tournament unbeaten in tournament football since the group stages of the 2010 World Cup. They haven’t lost a match of any kind since November 2011.
But Brazil will be much fancied as hosts. Luis Felipe Scolari is back in charge and has a talented cast attempting to deliver to a nation’s unbridled expectancy.
Argentina also deserve consideration for a tournament played on their home continent, while Germany’s crop of young stars may mature at just the right time to make a concerted challenge.
