The Thursday, March 21 edition of TNA Impact! Wrestling, which took place at the Sears Centre Arena in Chicago, Ill. opened with Bully Ray describing how he joined Aces and Eights.

Hulk Hogan kicked off Impact! Wrestling by walking gingerly to the ring on one crutch. Hogan began to talk about Aces and Eights and how they fooled everyone in TNA. He then calls out Samoa Joe, Magnus, Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy.

Hogan asked Hardy if he would be willing to have a rematch with Ray for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Hardy proposes a four-way main event match between himself, Joe, Magnus and Angle for the No. 1 contender spot.

Hogan quickly approves the match.

Another video package of Ray aired, as the champion continued to describe his actions and how he constructed Aces and Eights.

Match No. 1: Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez vs. Bobby Roode and Austin Aries for the TNA Tag Team titles.

Your winners to retain the TNA Tag Team titles: Bobby Roode and Austin Aries.

Roode and Aries were assisted by Christopher Daniels and Kazarian—who distracted Guerrero from nailing the Frog Splash for the victory. Impressive opening match with plenty of action. The audience finally got loud towards the end of the match after sitting mostly quiet.

Match Rating: 3.5/5.

Match No. 2: Sonjay Dutt vs. Zema Ion vs. Kenny King for the X-Division Championship.

Your winner to retain the X-Division title: Kenny King.

A very exciting match that drew plenty of reactions from the crowd. Although Dutt botched two moves, he was able to recover himself and finish the maneuver.

Match Rating: 3/5.

After a commercial break, another video packaged showed Ray continue his explanation about Aces and Eights.

Backstage, Sting confronted Hogan in his office. Hogan tells Sting to disappear into the rafters. Sting fires back and said he wanted to fight Ray. Hogan told Sting he was not the only wrestler who felt the same way.

TNA Knockouts referee Taryn Terrell came out to the ring and explained why she fought back with Gail Kim.

Kim, who arrived to the ring shortly after Terrell, begins to brag about herself, going through a list of accomplishments in her career. She calls out Broke Hogan to fire Terrell. Hogan fired Terrell from her referee job but re-hired her back to become a wrestler.

Suddenly, Ray approached Hogan and began to show his wedding ring, telling her that they cannot break apart because of their marriage.

Match No. 3: Matt Morgan vs. Joseph Park.

Your winner via pin fall: Matt Morgan.

Morgan dominated most of this match as Park had very limited offense. The match was certainly slower than the previous two and seemed to drag on at certain times.

Match Rating: 2.5/5.

TNA announcer Mike Tenay introduced AJ Styles to the ring. After Tenay failed to get an answer out of Styles, Tazz attempted to get the former world champion to join Aces and Eights. James Storm interrupted Tazz by heading to the ring. Styles briefly stood close to Storm but left the ring with no answer to his recent actions.

Match No. 4: Samoa Joe vs. Magnus vs. Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Hardy.

Your winner via pin fall: Jeff Hardy.

The match began to really intensify towards the very end as Hardy found the perfect opportunity to score the victory when Joe was trying to recover from an Ankle Lock by Angle. It was an enjoyable main event to conclude Impact! Wrestling and give Hardy some momentum heading into his World Heavyweight title rematch with Ray.

Match Rating: 3.5/5.
