Arnold Palmer and Tiger Woods Rumble with Wannabe PGA Trophy Thieves

Gabe ZaldivarPop Culture Lead WriterMarch 25, 2013

If you try and rip a trophy from Arnold Palmer, you are going to be on the wrong side of a good ol' fashioned butt whooping.

EA Sports is celebrating the release of the latest Tiger Woods golf video game, and they are spreading the news with this hilarious video featuring Palmer doing his best impression of Mr. Miyagi taking out the Cobra Kai

Yes, this commercial is hilarious and packs tremendous replay value. Also, the very inclusion of Lee Trevino puts it over the top as one of the best sports commercials to come around in a while.

Still, I think we can all be adult and call out the makers for far too many similarities from the cinematic masterpiece that was the 1992 martial arts film 3 Ninjas.

If you don't believe me, consider this part of the film and decide for yourself.

Then again, it's hard not to fashion anything dealing with martial arts after that movie. And I am only slightly perturbed we didn't see any moves from the Ernie Reyes Jr. romp Surf Ninjas in here.

Aside from that, this is just the latest piece of evidence that Palmer still has far more game than you can ever hope to have.

The golf legend recently met up with Kate Upton for dinner and even stole a kiss with the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model.

The game releases on March 26, whereupon you can play with some of the best golfers to ever dominate the sport.

I only hope there is a new fighting mode featuring Palmer, whom I like to think performs his own stunts. Actually, I will just go ahead and assume this is true.
