Sneakerheads and hypebeasts have taken over the NBA. Players are always trying to bring out the most sought-after pairs of kicks, which requires guys to dig in the crates for some classics. Retro kicks are a hit in the sneaker community, and this won't change. Ever.
Back in the day, NBA players would wear two, maybe three different sneaker models throughout the season. Today, it's almost impossible to keep track of how many unique styles players rock. Sometimes, they'll even switch pairs at the half!
The most popular retro decade in the NBA this season has by far been the '90s. Props to guys like DeMar DeRozan and Tony Wroten, who rocked the Air Jordan I's ('80s).
I went over to Flight Club New York to break down the top sneakers of the '90s worn across the league during the 2012-13 campaign.
Which is your favorite pair of '90s kicks that made an appearance in the NBA this season? Who has the most heat? Which ones from that decade should players wear more? Comment below.
