WWE: Was Triple H Injured at WrestleMania XXIX?

For those of you that missed it, Triple H overcame the beast that is Brock Lesnar last night at WrestleMania XXIX. Per the stipulation of the match, this victory saved Triple H's career.

The match itself was one of the highlights of the show. Although it was slow in some spots, both men managed to tell a great story in the ring. The match had a series of great spots and a nice finish with a sledgehammer and pedigree.

The match itself was incredibly physical. For a good portion of the match Lesnar was literally throwing Triple H around like a rag doll. I know that as I was watching the event I thought to myself that Triple H was taking some hard bumps.

Following the match, WWE posted a video of Triple H getting his arm looked at backstage. It would appear that he had some x-rays taken of his arm. In the video, the doctor mentions that Triple H "likely has a muscle contusion" and that he should "ice it down." Trips made it a point to tell the camera that it wasn't broken.

When guys like Triple H and Undertaker step into the ring you always to have wonder about their health. There is no question that they keep their bodies in great shape. However, when they only wrestle once or twice a year the chances of injury definitely increase.

In the end it's good to hear that everything is okay with Triple H. He is currently scheduled to appear on Raw tonight, as is Lesnar. It will be intriguing to see what happens with them moving forward.
