Barcelona mounted two comebacks at the Camp Nou to defeat Real Betis by a score of 4-2. The second half addition of Lionel Messi changed the course of the match and the Catalans are now one game away from lifting the La Liga trophy.

Pabon took advantage of weak defensive play to give Betis the lead in only the second minute. But Alexis Sanchez headed home to equalize only five minutes later.

The Catalans calmed down and began to dominate the match with possession and even created countless chances. Nearing halftime, Barcelona should have had at least four goals, but finishing was lacking.

As the half looked to be closing, Ruben Perez fired from 40 yards out to put Betis back on top and completely silence the Camp Nou crowd.

Not too long after the second half whistle blew, David Villa was able to equalize off of a brilliant header from a Dani Alves cross. Immediately Messi was brought on the rest of the match was already understood.

Messi scored an unbelievable free kick to put Barcelona up, followed by a tap in from some brilliant Tiki-Taka passing in the box.

The final whistle blew with Barcelona receiving all three points. The Catalans hold an 11 point lead over Real Madrid with only 12 points left to play for. La Liga may not be officially over yet, but it might as well be.
