The Minnesota Wild prevailed 3-2 in overtime to claim victory in Game 3 of the Western Conference first-round playoff series. The eighth-seeded squad won when Jason Zucker scored 2 minutes and 15 seconds into overtime at Xcel Energy Center.

Chicago scored a game-tying goal with 2:46 remaining in regulation, sending the game into an extra session. Duncan Keith's goal briefly saved top-seeded Chicago but the Wild quickly took care of business in overtime, cutting the Blackhawks' series lead to 2-1.

This is the second time these teams reached overtime in three matchups so far in the Western Conference series. Minnesota has new life and looked impressive earning it, outshooting Chicago 37-27 Sunday afternoon.
