Players Championship 2013 Leaderboard: Day 2 Scores, Results and Analysis

Mike DudurichContributor IMay 10, 2013

Sergio Garcia got out early, fired the low round of the day, 65, and sat back and watched the rest of field try to catch him.

Because they couldn't, Garcia holds a one-shot lead over Tiger Woods atop the leaderboard of the 2013 Players Championship.

It's a crowded leaderboard at the top, with plenty of star power. Lee Westwood and Henrik Stenson are two shots back, Adam Scott is four back.Sergio Garcia struggled a bit Friday but is still in good shape.

But there are also names like Kevin Chappel (-9), David Lingmerth (-8), Ryan Palmer (-8) and Casey Wittenberg (-8) in the mix.

The combination of the game’s biggest names, as well those who would seem to have no chance, should make for an interesting weekend of golf.
