The 2013 NBA playoffs returned Sunday, May 12 to the Oracle Arena, as the Golden State Warriors hosted the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of their Western Conference semifinals series.
The Spurs entered this game with a 2-1 series lead, but the Warriors have been dominant at home. With that being said, San Antonio took Game 3 at the Oracle Arena and thus had confidence entering Game 4.
Golden State hadn't lost two consecutive home games since March 9.
Manu Ginobili led the Spurs with 21 points on 5-of-10 shooting from beyond the arc, while Tim Duncan went for 19 points and 14 rebounds. For the Warriors, Harrison Barnes overcame a brutal shooting performance to go for 26 points and 10 rebounds.
With Jarrett Jack scoring 24 points and stepping up in the clutch, Golden State found itself in position to even the series as it forced overtime after trailing throughout. This marks the second overtime game of the series.
The drama continues.
The question is, could Golden State win at home and force the series to 2-2? Or were the veteran Spurs able to quiet the young guns and make it 3-1?
